Freedom Fighter Shri Bhagwanram, son of Dungaram, was born in Sikar. He was a prominent leader of the farmers of the region. He made special contribution towards the development of the village along with mass awakening of the inhabitants. He strongly opposed the increase in rent, eviction from land and other taxes being collected from the farmers by the landlords. After the Palthana incident, he was revered as symbolizing the strength of the peasants of Sikar. By organizing the farmers and voicing their grievances, he showcased organizational ability in the Kisan Sabhas in Khudi and Kudar.

Bhagwanra mmade commendable contribution in the fight against untouchability and for the spread of education amongst the Harijan community. He also addressed various matters in front of the princely state of Jaipur and the jagirdars of Sikar in 1995. Shri Ishri Singh, Shri Harisingh Palsana, Shri Kanhaiyalal Saraswat, Shri Bhawanaram Khinchad, Shri Lekharam Kaswadi, Shri Kishan Singh Dhaka, Shri Netaram Singh of Jhunjhunu Udaipurwati, Shri Govardhan Puri of Khandelawati and Shri Laduram participated with him in the Jat Panchayat concerning the issue of land revenue collected by jagirdars. Thereafter, they decided that they will not pay the increased tax.

He constantly struggled for attaining equality and justice during the course of the Indian Freedom Struggle.
