The Sri Gandhi Andhra Jathiya Mahavidyalayam school was established in the year 1921 at Agraharam, Eluru by Sri Mahatma Gandhi. Last year (2021), the school has completed 100 years. Mahatma Gandhi had planted a tree in premises of the school. This school witnessed many historic movements and protests including the Quit India movement.
