Union Territory of Puducherry, District - Puducherry. Sinnarasu was the son of Doraisamy. He was from Kombakkam village. He was an active volunteer who participated in many demonstrations against the French in India since 1947 and was a volunteer of the Liberation Committee. When he celebrated Indian Independence Day in his native village, he was charged by the French police. He escaped arrest and went underground. A false case was foisted upon him for unfurling the National Flag. He was arrested and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment. He spent 9 months and 20 days in jail from 2 February 1949 to 22 November 1949. He was awarded Tamarapatra. He passed away on 10 April 1987.
