Union Territory of Puducherry, District - Karaikal. Sivanandam was the son of Sadasivam. He was born on 19 November 1922. He was a native of Thirunallar village. He took part in the liberation movement in 1947. Many a time he faced the brutal assault of the merciless French police for participating in the processions against the French. He was imprisoned from 27 September 1950 to 4 June 1951 for his anti-government role in the merger movement. He was honored with Tamarapatra and Pension.
