A live online broadcast of Indian Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam) performance by Natya Rathna Ms Arthi Kalidasan was organized by the High Commission of India in collaboration with the Pillay R Natyalaya on 29th April, 2021. The winners of an online quiz contest which was held on Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April, 2021 were also awarded prizes on the occasion.
The High Commissioner of India General Dalbir Singh Suhag inaugurated the event. He spoke about the significance of India's independence in the World's history and the progress made by India in the past 75 years. He also remembered the freedom fighters and the founding fathers of the nation.
