Ministry of Education (MoE)

January 14, 2022

Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, (University of Delhi) in collaboration with the ICSSR, New Delhi and Students of Holistic Development of Humanity (SHoDH), and knowledge partner COL (University of Delhi) organized a Curtain Raiser Ceremony on 14th January 2022 through online mode. The seminar will be held on 23-24 March 2022. The event was inaugurated with the opening remarks by Prof. Payal Mago, principal of Shaheed Rajguru College. Prof. Raj Kumar, Director, Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, inaugurated the Brochure of the seminar. The ideas and practices sprawling from Indian culture and philosophy had to define influence on the world that is why India was the one and only “Vishva Guru" to ever exist. The ’official’ historiography of India’s freedom movement is vast and yet insufficient in bringing out the true facts about all the actors and activities that contributed to the eventual ending of British rule. As we are entering into the celebrations of the 75th year of our independence, it is very vital to find the historiography into a more informed and accommodative shape. This Seminar is aimed at achieving a reinvigoration of novel research fields in academics. The research and development activities are the only pathways to reach the goals of the aspirational youth of India. The seminar targets the bridging of ancient knowledge with futuristic ideas.
