Launched ‘Little Guru’

The Indian Embassy launched ‘Little Guru’, world’s first gamified Sanskrit e-learning app, in order to honor the ancient Indian tradition of learning.

The app has been developed developed by ICCR and designed by GamAppSportsWizz was launched in Bhutan on 9 April 2021 #AmritMahotsav. Bhutan was the first country across the globe in which the Little Guru App was launched by the former Education Minister of Bhutan Lyonpo T S Powdyel and the Ambassador.

The Ambassador delivered a lecture on “From Digital India to Digital Drukyul Lessons, Learnings Cooperation for Mutual Benefit” as part of the Distinguished Guest Lecture series of the Royal Thimphu College to the second year students of RTC on 14 April 2021.

Launched ‘Little Guru’

The Mission hosted the Preliminary Round of the India@75 Inter Dzongkhag Quiz amongst students from 21 schools across Bhutan through a digital video conferencing facility in collaboration with the Ministry of Education on 16 April 2021. 4 school teams who topped the Prelims of the Quiz went through to the Final Round of the India @75 Quiz. For the first time in Bhutan, the Final Round of the India@75 Quiz held virtually among the 4 finalist teams was broadcast live on television by the National Broadcaster, Bhutan Broadcasting Service on 23 April 2021. The Final Round was also held on a digital platform at a studio in BBS Headquarters. This event logged more than 23,500 views on social media and was broadcast on BBS TV2 channel.
