Investor Education Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, along with Institute of Charted Accountancy of India (ICAI) as a Partner Institute at NCC headquarter, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi. The programme was held for the 150 NCC Cadets and the support staff attended the same.
The programme was aimed to create awareness and disseminate investor education amongst students early in life which will empower them to make informed choices for their well-being. Wg Cdr Kunal Grime graced the programme and addressed the participants. Dr Amit Kumar Agrawal, Secretary, CCMIP- ICAI, CA. Neha Bansal, Executive Officer -ICAI and CA. Pankaj Shukla was the faculty and engaged all the participants in the interactive and informative session.
The session helped in inculcating the culture of health spending and investing habits amongst approximately 150 NCC Cadets who are at their initial stage of career planning. Other topics covered were an introduction to banking, the art of budgeting, investment options and their strategies, basics of the capital market etc.
