Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and the Committee on Capital Market and Investors’ Protection, ICAI (CCMIP), organised an interactive investor awareness program. The program was held on 29th Nov 2021 for the undergraduate NCC Cadets under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to ensure Jan Bhagidari for effective awareness.
The program aimed to create awareness and disseminate investor education amongst students early in life, empowering them to make informed choices for their well-being. Lt. Col. Rajendra Singh graced the program and addressed the participants. CA. Amit Agarwal, Assistant Secretary, ICAI, was the faculty and engaged in interactive and informative sessions.
The session helped inculcate the culture of health spending and investing habits amongst approximately 250 undergraduate NCC Cadets at their initial stage of career planning. Other topics covered were the introduction to banking, the art of budgeting, investment options and strategies, the basics of the capital market, etc
