The Festival of Indian-Romanian Friendship, an event dedicated to the Indian diaspora in Romania, took place at the green hours bistro in Bucharest on 20 November. In the light breeze of a very warm November afternoon, Ambassador Shrivastava interacted with Indian nationals, thanking them for their contribution brought to both India and Romania. The atmosphere was enlivened by Mr. Victor Marius Beliciu, a talented sitar player who soulfully performed Raga Kedar and Mrs. Mariana Sharma - Naliny - who took guests on a trip down memory lane by performing Kishore Kumar songs. Ambassador Shrivastava thanked collaborators, Mr. Victor Diaconu from Asian Bucate and Mr. Daniel Vasile and Dragos Dicu from green hours, for their efforts to create a special menu featuring Indian dishes for the day and for their involvement in creating a pleasant atmosphere. The event was supported by the Embassy of India, Bucharest.
