Hon’ble Prime Minister inaugurated 37th National Games in Goa

Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 37th National Games at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at Margao, Goa, India on 26th October 2023. The games will be held from 26th October to 9th November 2023. More than 10,000 athletes will be participating.
Prime Minister highlighted the journey of Mahakumbh of Indian Sports and its arrival in Goa. He was delighted to see the environment filled with colours, waves, enthusiasm, and adventure. He emphasized that the National Games coincide with a period in which the nation is making significant success in sports. He also, highlighted the accomplishments of India in the Asian Games, breaking a record that stood for 70 years, and noted the remarkable achievements.
Additionally, the Prime Minister mentioned India's historic performance in the recently concluded World University Games. He expressed that India's recent accomplishments in sports serve as a substantial source of motivation for aspiring young athletes. Referring to the National Games as a strong foundation for aspiring athletes, the Prime Minister underscored the array of opportunities available and urged them to give their utmost effort.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the nation's youth are the cornerstone of all ongoing endeavours in the country. He talked about an upcoming platform launch 'MY Bharat' platform - a unified hub designed to connect youngsters with the country's various Government schemes.
This platform aims to provide the youth with maximum opportunities to realize their potential and actively contribute to the development of the nation. It will serve as a means to channel India's 'Yuva Shakti' into the empowered force behind a developed India," he expressed. The Prime Minister is set to inaugurate this campaign on the upcoming Ekta Diwas.
