Prime Minister addresses Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024

Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed India’s largest and one of its kind mobility exhibitions – Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The event took place at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The expo showcased India’s mobility and automotive developments over the years.
While addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister congratulated the automotive industry and exhibitors for organizing the expo of such grandeur. He said that the event managed to bring together the entire mobility and supply chain community on a single platform.
Reaffirming the objective of achieving a developed India by 2047, the Prime Minister emphasized the significant role played by the mobility sector. Emphasizing India's dynamic progress, the Prime Minister said, India is progressing firmly, highlighting that the current period marks the onset of a prosperous era for the mobility sector. He stressed that India's economy is expanding rapidly, with projections indicating that it will soon rank as the third-largest economy globally.
Emphasizing on the vast opportunities within the mobility sector over the next 25 years, the Prime Minister called upon the industry to undergo rapid transformation to fully harness these prospects. Recognizing the demand for a skilled technical workforce and proficient drivers in the mobility sector, he highlighted the contribution of over 15 thousand Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the country that currently supply manpower to this industry. Additionally, the Prime Minister urged the industry leaders to collaborate with ITIs to align courses more closely with the industry's evolving needs.
