Paying tribute to India’s freedom fighters

Makhan Lal Mukherjee was a freedom fighter. His wife’s name was Usha Rani. He had contributed to 1942, Quit India Movement. He was in contact with Gandhiji. He was a true follower of Gandhiji and followed the path of truth similar to that of Gandhiji. He has arrested in 1931 in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He was transferred to Faridabad Jail in 1932 but he broke out of the jail and went to Kolkata, West Bengal. He was also one of the freedom fighters from Pra Nagar, Jamshedpur amongst all other freedom fighters He did not receive a copper plate nor did he receive a pension from the Indian Government. His documents are present with the Bihar Government. He was an employee of Tata steel. He was a social worker and a Farmer. He died in 1960.
