Prabhat Kusum Majumdar was a freedom fighter. His date of birth was 1909. His wife’s name was Sarju Prabha Majumdar. He was involved in the Freedom movement. He contributed to 1942, Quit India Movement. During the Quit India Movement, he was sent to jails like Jamshedpur, Alipoor, Delhi, and Cuttack. For his contribution to independence, he received a copper plate from Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi on 15th August 1972. He died in the year 1987. He was a Great social worker.
