Arjun Mahto was a freedom fighter from Lohadih village, Sarwaan, Deoghar, Jharkhand. His father’s name was Lt. Choudhary Mahto and his mother’s name was Ambika Devi. His wife’s name is Lt. Dulari Devi. He was born in 1920. Arjun Mahto had participated in the freedom struggle and had worked with another freedom fighter in this area, Nagdi Rai. He was involved in the looting of the grain store. He was a follower of Gandhiji. He used to work in the fields. He died on 16 February 2015.
