Paying tribute to India’s freedom fighters

Bhairo Nath Singh was a freedom fighter from Saarwan, Deoghar, Jharkhand His father’s name was Jadav Nath Singh. His wife's name was Bhuneshwari Devi. He was born in September 1906. He had worked along with Subhash Chandra Bose and had also gone to jail. He was a leader of the Extremist party. A prize of 25,000 was announced if someone helps to find him dead or alive. He was arrested because he had participated in the 1932 Satyagraha and in the 1942 Quit India Movement and looted the grain storehouse. He stayed in the Phuljori hills for years. He also went to Deoghar jail. Britishers had announced shoot and sight order for him. He was a great social worker. He died in 1972.
