World Blood Donor Day is celebrated on the 14th of June every year. This day is celebrated to raise global awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products for transfusion, support national blood transfusion services, blood donor organizations, and other nongovernmental organizations, and thank blood donors. The government of India is committed to promoting voluntary non-paid blood donation so as to improve blood safety in the country and make safe blood available and accessible to all those who are in need.

On the occasion of World Blood Donation Day - 14th June, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) in collaboration with MyGov is hosting a 'Slogan Writing Contest on Voluntary Blood Donation'.

The theme of the competition - “Give Blood, Give Plasma, Share Life, Share Often”

•The slogan should be in either Hindi or English and then uploaded.
•Images of slogans written in ink will not be considered.
•Participants should upload the slogan in PDF format only.
•The slogans should be catchy and should not exceed 20 words
