As a part of celebrating 75 years of India’s Independence (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) Consulate General of India, Hambantota in association with Southern Provincial Ministry of Sports, Youth Affairs & Culture organized “Indian Musical Evening” on 17th December 2021 at the main auditorium of Dakshinapaya Complex Labuduwa, Galle. The “Indian Musical Evening” was performed by Sri Lanka Broadcast Corporation led by veteran music director Mr. W.J Upali. The occasion was graced by the Southern Provincial governor Hon’ble (Dr). Willie Gamage, Mr. Bimal Indrajith De Silva, Secretary of Southern Provincial Ministry of Sports, Youth Affairs & Culture. Senior Officials from all the other ministries attended the function.
