Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 31.12.2021 at HVDC Kurukshetra to commemorate the anniversary of the achievement of One Nation-One Grid-One Frequency. Various events and activities were organized during this occasion
POWERGRID organized Free of cost Medical Camp at Gram Sachivalaya, Village-Bhadson, Tehsil Indri, Distt-Karnal, Haryana. Tests like ECG, Blood Sugar, BMI, etc were done during the Medical Camp. General Check-up plus consultations by doctors related to Ortho, Medicine, etc. were provided. Medicines were also provided to the needy during the Medical Camp. A total of 111 no’s villagers have taken benefit from this Medical Camp.
CGM, Kurukshetra addressed the gathering and shared his views regarding Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and also about the One Nation-One Grid-One Frequency. A large gathering consisting of employees, contractual laborers, and local people were present.

Total 70 nos of saplings were planted on 31.12.2021 in the HVDC Kurukshetra premises during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
