On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, a drive to saturate the community with Golden Cards under the Ayushman Bharat SEHAT scheme was conducted at Barsoo Awantipora Pampore.
On the occasion, the Supervisor, FMPHWs, ASHAs and other healthcare workers went door to door for mobilization of left-out sections of the population.
Several issues cropped up during the drive and personnel from different departments were involved to get the lacuna removed for the smooth running of the drive.
The ASHAs played a pivotal role in tracing out the left-out individuals and mapping the same for smoother flow of work. They also mobilized the population of CSCs and VLEs during door-to-door campaign.
Subsequently, to overcome the overload on the portal, night camps were organised in different areas to meet the targets within the stipulated time.
The drives were supervised by the zonal medial officers in different zones of the block.
