National Institute for MSME organized Global Spin Trade Conclave on Eco Textiles, Eco Handlooms, and Apparels during 21-22 March in WTC Bengaluru. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of MSME under the International Cooperation scheme. The chief guest of the event on 21-03-2022 is Shri. N.Nagaraj, Honourable Minister for Small Scale Industries, Govt. of Karnataka.
Shri Bhaskar Kalra, Under Secretary, Ministry of MSME, GoI gave opening remarks and sensitized the participants about the schemes of the Ministry.
Dr. Glory Swarupa, Director General, NIMSME welcomed the guests and briefed them about the role of NIMSME in the promotion of MSMEs.
Dr. Rajit Okhandiar, CEO and the guest of honor highlighted the Importance of textiles in the Indian economy.
The chief guest has briefed the audience about the importance of MSMEs in employment generation, especially the textile sector. The inaugural session was concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. K. Visweswara Reddy.
