As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and India Japan @70, Lectures and Yoga session on the “Yogic Management of Back Pain” was conducted by the Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India Tokyo. Besides the regular Yoga classes, the VCC has been organising a number of special sessions focused on day to day health issues faced by the people. These sessions have received enthusiastic response from the Japanese people and more and more people are getting benefitted by the unique healing techniques of the ancient Indian practice. Yoga is a mind-body therapy that’s often recommended to treat not only back pain but the stress that accompanies it. The appropriate poses can relax and strengthen your body. Practicing yoga for even a few minutes a day can help you gain more awareness of your body.
