As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and India Japan @70, on January 31, 2023, H.E. Mr. Sibi George, Ambassador of India to Japan addressed the 5th Symposium of Japan-India Exchange Platform Program (JIEPP), highlighting the importance of educational collaborations in the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership. In his address, the Ambassador spoke about the importance of academic exchanges to strengthen bilateral relations. JIEPP is a programme that brings higher educational institutions from India and Japan on one platform to exchange opinions and views on varied subjects and areas. The programme has helped foster close cooperation and synergy among the universities of both countries. This was the 5th and final year of the current series of the programme.
