Maharishi Dayananda Saraswati was a renowned Indian philosopher and leader who played a significant role in the freedom movement of India and shaped the minds of the youth. His teachings continue to be influential even today. A great scholar of Vedas, he worked towards eradicating social evils, superstitions, and stereotypes prent in society.
He believed that every individual had the potential and capability to achieve anything, irrespective of the status assigned to them by society. It was Maharishi’s vision, that the idea of eradicating the social evils from Indian society, spread across the nation and stay prent throughout time. To achieve this, he founded the Arya Samaj Organization, a religious movement, in Bombay in 1875. Soon, the reach of Arya Samaj expanded across various cities and more and more people joined the noble path of the reform movement paved by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati.
