A farmer training Camp was organised on dated 11-05-2022 at Block Noormahal (Jalandhar). This Camp was presided over by Dr. Surinder Singh Chief Agriculture Officer Jalandhar. He imparts detailed know-how about the successful cultivation of Kharif Crops. He urges the Farmers to follow the package of practices and recommendations of PAU for Paddy & other Kharif crops. Dr. Gurinder Singh's Agriculture Officer training discuss the important points for direct seeding of rice & told the farmers to follow the instructions given by scientists & officers of the Department of Agriculture for DSR. Dr. Malwinder Singh Agriculture Officer Training told the farmers about the diversification of Crops to save underground water & cultivation of Oil Seed Crops to make our Country sufficient in oil. Dr. Gurcharan Singh Agriculture Development Officer Training told the Farmers about the importance of Soil testing in crop production. He also urges the farmers to use fertilizers on the basis of soil testing reports. Sh. Sukhjinder Singh Agriculture Extension Officer Noormahal conducted the stage & say a vote of thanks to the experts & farmers. About 100 farmers have participated in this camp.
