Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) is being celebrated to commemorate the 75 glorious years of progressive Independent India. Under the aegis of AKAM, a campaign “HarGharTiranga” has been launched by Min. of Culture, GoI to encourage the citizens to hoist the National Flag of India in their homes.
In order to ensure the successful implementation of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” program the GOI & Chief Secretary to Government, GoAP have issued instructions to all District Collectors in the State to create awareness programs from 1st to 15th August 2022 in order to achieve the required scale, visibility, impact and outreach to “HarGharTiranga” program which would enable the citizens to take pride in participating in this milestone Celebrations.
In order to the above the District Collector, SPSR Nellore District has entrusted all the District level Officers for making necessary arrangements in day-wise Suggestive programs which will be taken up from 1st August 2022 till 15th August 2022.
The District Panchayat Officer, SPSR Nellore District, Municipal Commissioner, Nellore, and all Mandal Parishad Development Officers are entrusted to conduct “Public Motivation Awareness Campaigns” through Village/Ward Secretaries across the District.

The ZP Chairman, SPSR Nellore District attended as Chief Guest, and all the District Officers, All Employees, and a large number of Citizens participate in the Rally at Nellore. All the Mandal / Village Level Officers, Public Representatives, and Social Workers participated in said Rallies across the District.
The Rally started at 8.30 A.M from Mahatma Gandhi Statue after the guests paid their respects to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. On the occasion of the rally school, children dress up as freedom fighters.
