As part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,' the Eastern Railway Head Quarter celebrated the birth anniversary of Rani Laxmi Bai at the cultural room of Eastern Railway Head Quarter on 22.11.2021.
The day was also celebrated as Women's Empowerment Day. Sri Arun Arora, GM/ER, Sri Mahavir Singh, PCPO/ER, Sri Shekhar Ranjan Ghosal, PCME/ER, and other officers of Eastern Railway offered floral tribute to the portrait of Rani Laxmi Bai and two other women freedom fighters, namely Pritilata Waddedar and Kalpana Dutta both of whom were inspired by the Rani of Jhansi, Lakshmibai.
