Golak Bihari Sen was a freedom fighter and son of Pashupati Sen. He belonged originally to Tamulipara, Jamtara Bazar, Jamtara, Jharkhand, and his date of birth was 1916. His wife’s name was Thanda Bala Sen. He was involved in the freedom movement. He contributed to 1942, Quit India Movement. During the Quit India Movement, he was sent to Jamtara jail and Dumka jail for 2 years. For his contribution to independence, he received a copper plate from Prime Minister Lt. Indira Gandhi on August 15, 1972. He died in October 1994. He was a good social worker.
