The Ministry of Culture and the India Today Group have joined hands to promote inclusive development as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. This collaboration aims to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India, its rich cultural heritage, and remarkable achievements by promoting inclusive development throughout the country.

The Ministry of Culture and the India Today Group believes that promoting inclusive development is crucial for building a stronger and more prosperous India.

This association will enhance the impact of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, with a focus on the theme of inclusive development. Through an engaging on-ground campaign, the initiative aims to create a lasting impression and reach a maximum target audience across 10 cities.

The campaign has already successfully completed 18 events in Noida, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Jammu, and Bengaluru, witnessing active participation and involvement from over 7,500 individuals through Jan Bhagidari (public participation).

The upcoming events will be held in the rural areas of Jaipur, Gurgaon, Kolkata, and Delhi, aiming to promote Jan Bhagidari among rural people and guide them about government schemes and policies under the segment of inclusive development.

The initiative revolves around five major themes of inclusive development, each contributing to the holistic progress of the nation:

  • Financial Literacy: Promoting knowledge and awareness about financial matters to empower individuals and enhance their financial well-being.
  • Samagra Awaas: Convergence under PMAY-G: Focusing on the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), the campaign emphasizes the convergence of various government schemes to provide affordable housing to rural households.
  • Promoting Digital Transactions: Encouraging the adoption of digital payment methods to drive India's digital economy and educate individuals about the convenience and benefits of digital transactions.
  • Plantation Drive on Riverbanks: Highlighting environmental conservation, the campaign promotes tree plantation along riverbanks to enhance ecological balance, prevent soil erosion, and create a greener environment.
  • Animal Husbandry: Raising awareness about animal welfare, sustainable livestock management, and the economic benefits associated with proper animal husbandry practices.

By harnessing the power of media, technology, and public engagement, the Ministry of Culture & The India Today Group aim to create a lasting impact on society and inspire individuals to actively contribute to India's inclusive growth.
