Under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a Blood donation camp was organized in the IP University Campus at Sector 16, Dwarka, New Delhi by the BTS division and NBTC, DteGHS Government of India with the support of Dr RML hospital New Delhi and Indian Red Cross Society, New Delhi.
More than 500 students, faculty, and staff of IP University participated in the event.
The Chief guest was Dr. Mahesh Verma, Vice Chancellor of IP University, New Delhi, and Dr. Ajay Shukla, Medical Supredent of Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi attended the event as a Special guest.
Dr. Anil Kumar, Director-NBTC & ADD DDG and Dr. Megha P Khobragade, ADG, and Dr. Kiran Chaudhary, Incharge Blood Centre - Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi also participated in the event.
A Nukkad Natak was performed by the student of VMMC & Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi to promote blood donation, especially among the youth. The Nukkad Natak was well appreciated by the participants.
Two Blood Mobile Units were stationed at the IP University. A total of 58 units of Blood were donated.
