In connection with Meri Mati , Mera Desh, the cleanliness Drive was conducted by the Panchayat Lasjan –B under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Panchayat Secretary. The venue for the event was : DDC member from Lasjan. Also, the BDO concerned , other officials and locals were among the all who conducted the program. During the event, the participants in presence of the chief guest carried out a drive in which they cleaned the nearby areas of the Panchayat . The plastic and other hazardous waste from roadside was collected and put in the public dustbins. In addition, the litter of many types was also collected for onward submission to waste collection firms . Later in the event the officials addressed the locals to stick to the cleanliness ethics to make India on new heights of the developmental parameters on 75 th year of Independence . They also added that The idea of cleanliness was also adopted by the freedom fighters of the India who dreamed the Nation with development at full pace in which the cleanliness is at top priority and respect the essence of Meri Mati , Mera Desh.. The event ended with the vote of thanks by the Secretary Panchayat. About more than 25 people participated in the event.
