In connection with the celebration of 75 th year of Independence and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Veeron Ko Naman Program was conducted by Rural Development Department under Meri Mati , Mera Desh. The chief guest for the event was: DDC Vice- Chairperson, Srinagar. Also ,the Block Development Officer, Srinagar. The Sarpanches of the Panchayat Halqa along with the Concerned Panches and locals were also among who were at the venue. During the event , the Panchayat Inspector delivered a welcome address at the venue in which he mentioned the aim of the event . Then, the chief guest was requested to deliver the introductory words at the venue. During the event , he that when India is celebrating the 75 th year of Independence, the immortal contributions of great heroes and freedom fighters , Martyred Army Personals , Central Armed Personals needs to be acknowledged . He added that everyone of us must propagate the patriotism among the society so that the future general is inherited fully. Later in the event, The Pledge taking ceremony was conducted to honor Freedom fighters. The event concluded with National Anthem at the venue . About more than 26 people participated in the event.
