In connection with the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Swachta Rally was conducted at Dara panchayat by Rural Development Department under Meri Mati, Mera Desh. The venue for the event was near Panchayat Ghar- Dara Panchayat. The chief guest for the event was: Programming Officer, Swachh Bharat Mission- Grameen . The event was conducted by the Panchayat Secretary in collaboration with the school students, general public and the Panchayati Raj Institutions. In the event , the chief guest was welcomed by all participants respectfully . Thereafter, all the participants in presence of the guest proceeded further in the form of awareness rally from the site of initiation. They all were holding the banners and placards showing the clean India campaign. They were chanting the lines like: Swatchta Hi Seva Hai that was also advocated by the great freedom fighter of India: Mahatma Gandha. meaning the ultimate service to mighty earth is to keep the surrounding clean so that the future generation gets better and secured environment . At the culmination of the rally, the chief guest urged the general public to kindly follow cleanliness ethics so that Rural India sets an example when Nation is celebrating 75 th year of Independence. The event concluded with singing of National Anthem by all participants . About more than 31 people participated in the event.
