In connection with Azadi Ka K Amrit Mahotsav, the Swatchta Pledge was being conducted by Rural Development Department at Mufti Bagh, Harwan under Meri Mati, Mera Desh. The chief guest for the event was : Director General- Budget. In addition, the BDO concerned ,Sarpanch of the Panchayat Halqa , locals and the students participated at the venue. The event that was hosted by the Block Harwan authorities, the chief guest was respectfully welcomed by the BDO in which he mentuioned the essence of Swachh Bharat Mission- Garemeen. After that , the chief guest was invited to speak on the occasion .During his address , the aim and objectives of the mission were mentioned . He said that , on 75 th year of Independence, the component of cleanliness carries a key role in developing the overall health of the nation. Later in the event , the Pledge was taken by al the participants in which they took oath to- Make awareness about positive effects of cleanliness reforms, making Nation clean by 2047, advocating the idea of inclusion of Volunteers and the general public in the effective implementation of the Cleanliness mission across rural areas of the nation. The event concluded with vote of thanks to the worthy chief guest. About more than 45 people participated in the event at the venue.
