To make people aware of waste segregation, the Municipal Council distributed compost prepared from wet waste in different markets. It appealed to the people to prepare this compost in their homes so that wet waste can be disposed of at home.
Along with this, the wet waste collected from different wards was put into compost pits, the prepared compost was filtered and packed, and dry waste like SUP, plastic bottles, etc. was made into bales.
