Directorate of IPR, GoAP, collaborating with Govt. Secondary School, Dipa organised a poster making competition, photo exhibition and showcased a short movie about Martyred Havildar Hangpan Dada to the students and public of Dipa Village. The program was arranged to commemorate the first flag hoisting of the National tricolour at Dipa on 15th Aug'1947. The occasion was graced by Shri Dasher Teshi, IPR Director, Marto Riba, DC Lower Siang, Shri Onyok Pertin, Deputy Director IPR, Smti. Dugyir A. Padu, PRO IPR, Shri Marsen Basar, HGB, Shri Marmik Riba, Headmaster GSS, Dipa and Shri Henkar Rokom Bado, Chief Engineer, Power. The day was observed by remembering the great freedom fighters and other unsung heroes of the State.
