Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Shri Ramlalla in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took part in the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Shri Ramlalla at the recently constructed Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. He also met the hardworking individuals (Shramjeevi) who built the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir.
The Prime Minister expressed his elation of experiencing the divine consciousness inside the temple. He said, “This moment is supernatural and sacred, the atmosphere, environment, and energy signify the blessings of Lord Ram upon us”.
He said that the date (22nd January 2024) will be a topic of discussion even a millennium from now. The Prime Minister remarked that today is filled with divinity in every aspect—days, directions, and the skies. He emphasized that this is not an ordinary period but a lasting memory being engraved on the timeline of history.
The historic ceremony saw the participation of eminent personalities and representatives from all major spiritual and religious sectors of India. Representatives of tribal communities also graced the event with their presence.
About Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir
Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir has been built in the traditional Nagara style. It spans 380 feet in length (east-west), 250 feet in width, and reaches a height of 161 feet. The architectural marvel is supported by 392 pillars and features 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple are adorned with well-sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses. The main sanctum sanctorum (Garb Graha) on the ground floor houses the idol of Shri Ramlalla, depicting the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
The primary entrance to the Mandir is located on the eastern side, accessible by ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar. The Mandir comprises five Halls, namely Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap. Adjacent to the Mandir is a historic Well known as Sita koop, which dates back to ancient times. In the southwestern part of the Mandir complex, at Kuber Tila, the ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv has been meticulously restored, and a statue of Jatayu has been installed.
